Diego Maradona wants Napoli to offload Gonzalo Higuain

Gonzalo Higuainis going through what might be his best season of his entire career as the Argentine player has scored 30 goals in 32 appearances which is his most prolific amount of goals scored in a single season.

Even with the outstanding amount of goals that Higuain has netted for Napoli in this season, they still couldn’t stop Juventus from snatching the Serie A title for the 5th successive year.

Despite experiencing what might be his best season out of his career, Diego Maradona has urged his former club Napoli to sell Gonzalo Higuain and use that money to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.

“I think ‘Pipita’ Higuain has already done the best he can for Napoli and he’s not going to have another season like this one. We saw it also with EzequielLavezzi. They need new faces and they need to sell Higuain for as much money as possible. Instead of Higuain, I would go for Harry Kane of Tottenham.’’ Former star of Napoli, Diego Maradona said.

Diego Maradona is generally considered to be one of the best players in the history of the sport and it was with Napoli where he managed to make a name for himself and even though he retired over 15 years ago, Maradona still remains up to date with everything that is going on in the world of football and especially with his former club Napoli.

Harry Kane is one of the most coveted players in the world of football as the 22 year old player has scored 24 goals in 35 appearances and Maradona wants Napoli to sign the young performer. It remains unclear if Higuain wants to make a move away from Napoli after such an impressive season.

There are many clubs interested in signing Harry Kane but it will be difficult to sign the youngster considering that Tottenham Hotspur will keep hold of him for as long as they can.
